St James Manor

Built over 100 years ago, St James Manor is one of Rovos Rail's stately seaside retreats, overlooking the vibrant fishing village of Kalk Bay and St James with majestic views across Cape Town's False Bay. The Manor reflects the opulent times of a bygone era with gorgeous fabrics, Persian carpets, and early English and South African antiques.

Six en-suite bedrooms, each named after historic local characters, are individually decorated with calm colours and period furnishings. The house features attractive lounges, a library, a residents' honour bar, a breakfast room, and an elegant dining room. A private, wind-protected swimming pool and tanning deck carved into the mountain offer magnificent views of the False Bay coastline.
